Blitzz Youth Academy

Overview:

The Blitzz FC Youth Academy Program is for anyone born in 2007,2008,2009,2010. This program continues to work on individual development while introducing team tactical concepts and focusing on player and personal developmental approach.

The Youth Academy is designed to provide a high level of professional coaching in order to continue to take advantage of the Golden Age of Skill Development, and also gradually increases competitiveness by introducing games against other clubs from nearby while still keeping it fun and minimizing costs. Players in the Blitzz Youth Academy can expect to travel 5-7 out of the 9-12 weekends, and play nearby on the remaining weekends. We will typically not travel further than Helena, Billings, Great Falls, or Missoula for Saturday games during the spring season with tournaments being the exception.

Information on League Play and Tournaments:

2008-2007

The 2008 and 2007 age groups will participate in the MYSA (Montana Youth Soccer Associations) spring league. Teams will be scheduled by the state to play other like teams within the State of Montana. The 2008 and 2007 birth years will participate in the State Showcase as their final event of the season in June. (Note: location and time have not been determined by the state yet)

2009-2010

The 2009-2010 birth years will participate in friendlies throughout the season each weekend from April –thru mid-June. The 2009 and 2010 birth year will end their season participating in the State Showcase. (Note: location and time have not been determined by the state yet)

Stockman Bank Magic City Classic:

All Youth Academy players will participate in the Stockman Bank Magic City Classic. The team registration fee is included in the spring registration cost.

Training Start Date (Tentative) 2019.

Training (Outdoors, weather and field conditions depending) March 25th, 2019 for 2010-2007 age groups.

Club Registration Fee: $60 once yearly per player (8/1/18 through 7/31/19)

Registration needs to be completed by February 1st, 2019 or players may not be guaranteed placement on a team.

Fees include: licensed & paid coaching, pre-season training, 2-3 training sessions per week, Saturday games or scrimmages, ref fees, tournament fee for Stockman Bank Magic City Classic, and more.

Directions for Program Registration for New Players

**Blitzz will now be registering all programs through the www.blitzzfc.org website. In order to register for Academy or Competitive programs follow the directions below:
1) Go to www.blitzzfc.org
2) In the upper right-hand corner of the page select the REGISTER button.
3) You will need to set up a family account with a primary account holder.
4) After setting up the primary account the program will prompt you to add a new participant. You will need to add each player in your family separately. Once you have added the participants, you can then select which program you would like them to participate.
5) Programs will be offered based on the age of your player.
6) If your player has played "up" or "down" in the past please still register them according to their correct age (do not change their date of birth). Blitzz FC can make an internal transfer for those that play in age groups different from their own.

**All Academy players MUST also register in the Club Registration for the year 18/19.

Blitzz FC does offer payment plans. The payment plans are on a three-month cycle: Please note there is a $10.00 charge for using payment plans.

2019 Spring Youth Academy Payment Plan.

3 month plan
First month due at time of registration.
Second month due December 1st, 2018.
Third month due January 31st, 2019.

How to place an order: Fill out an order form at Play It Again Sports where you can try on the sizes that fit your player.

The whole kit is $37 and includes two jerseys, one short and a pair of socks.

Extras can be purchased ala carte. If you are in a hurry you can call in your order and pay with a credit card over the phone 587-7427(PIAS). They are open 7 days per week. M-F 9-8pm; Sat 9-7pm; Sun 10-5pm. 1428 N. 15th, Bozeman.
